This is absolutely heartbreaking. I resonate with his fear. I used to be an addict, this was the first substance that’s ever made me call the police on myself. I genuinely thought I was dying. My heart felt like it was exploding, my chest felt like it was being torn apart by hot sharp claws. I was absolutely hysterical. The entire left side of my body went numb. It’s not like a depressant.. you’re completely aware you’re dying 😞 everyone’s making jokes but this genuinely put a pit in my stomache and brought me back to the night I was crying to 911 on the floor. He suffered.
