Four were killed: two men, 71 and 59, a woman of 64, and one serviceman. Four more were wounded. Razvozhaev said the attacker was detained. All those figures come from one source: Razvozhaev’s post at 09:04 MSK. It gives no time, weapon, unit, motive or criminal case. His wording matters. After saying “a serviceman opened fire on fellow servicemen”, he switches to “the attacker”. He never separately identifies the detained man as a serviceman, and neither do we. By midday, Russia’s Defence Ministry had said nothing. Nor had the Investigative Committee, despite announcing cases elsewhere that morning. TASS ran the story twice, as a flash and a roundup bullet, and neither text used “serviceman”. Interfax and RIA, working from the same post, kept it. No Ukrainian authority had commented publicly in the sources reviewed. The only additional account comes from a screenshot of the village residents’ chat posted by a local channel. It said the man fired on colleagues, ran into the forest and was presumed to be between Chernorechye, Khmelnitskoye and Rodnoye. “Be vigilant,” it said. The post was later deleted. We found it only through Agentstvo’s quotation. We are not publishing the name circulating for the suspect. It comes from that screenshot, and no official body has named anyone. How often does this happen? Nobody official says. Russia’s judicial statistics no longer carry military-service crimes, and military courts publish few verdicts. Mediazona identified 1,045 murder and fatal-assault cases involving servicemen in military courts since 2022. It calls that a floor. Cases, not confirmed incidents. Sixty-five minutes after announcing four dead, Razvozhaev posted again: the FSB had detained what he described as a sabotage cell.
