They are human beings first and foremost. They are broken, exhausted, ignored and left to fend for themselves in a cruel world. They have done the best they could to dull the pain they feel. Act like a normal human being and stop judging them, the help out there isn't as plentiful as you may think, and you never know how close you are to becoming this broken until your in it.

I've been there. A long time ago. I own my home now; have a stack of hard earned money in the bank, travelled the world. I turned my life around through some salvagable amount of willpower BUT ALSO the kindness of those who gave me chances and help. I was coerced into the life of drugs and foolishly went in. I was young. Homeless due to dysfunctional family. I'm a bigger, better man than I ever was now and unless you've been there, you haven't a clue. So stop your judging of these unfortunate souls. Have a look at your own lives. What have you ever done to make others' lives better? What good have you even done for yourselves? Probably very little. Get off your high horses.

Why now? 10- 20 years ago this never happened in our city? What has happened? I worked in the city years ago and never saw this . There were homeless people around abbecket street, and they had a shelter to go to around there . They were harmless but had shelters ! Now our government have let this deteriorate.

It’s really sad. My dad ended up being an alcoholic and living in a park, while looking for me. My point is that none of know what got people to this stage and that kindness costs nothing 💔

2026 and we have people still living on the streets it’s terribly sad ,,,, I know there are some that don’t want the help but I’m sure the majority would love a place to call home and a job
