There’s a new black owned Italian restaurant in Grand Prairie TX that’s perfect for a date night. We loved how aesthetic the ambience was with all the natural light that comes in. This spot features an open wood-fired grill and Italian inspired dishes are curated by celebrity Chef Tiffany Derry. They recently just opened the Grand Prairie location and have another in Farmers Branch as well. We tried a couple different items on their menu and everything was absolutely amazing. Suppli al Telefono Polpette Fried Squash Blossom Lobster All’ Astice Chicken Parmesan Rosewood Wagyu Skirt Steak Starting with the appetizers, the suppli al telefono was definitely our favorite. It’s basically like a salmon croquette with different meats inside. The flavors paired so well together, it was cheesy and the pesto sauce was phenomenal. The polpette and the fried squash blossom were also good choices for starters as well. Our server did an amazing job with recommending items for us and we definitely enjoyed our appetizers. For the entrees, we wanted a variety so we tried a dish off their pasta options, the wood fired grill and chicken Parmesan. The lobster all’ astice was like a lobster and crab ravioli and it had such a rich creamy sauce. The chicken Parmesan was definitely the favorite out of the entrees with how cheesy and crispy the chicken was. The waygu skirt steak was also very tender, juicy and cooked to perfection. We absolutely enjoyed our experience here and will definitely be back to try more options & also their brunch menu.
