I wanted to take my hamster to the vet and my mum said no :( she had some kind of tumer or cancer in her ear that spread fast and soon she lost her ability to walk..

Exactly this!! I did this with Lola I let her choose then she was traumatised by the vet which made her pretty much completely unhandled for for a long time this is her now! We are taking it slow but she’s come such a long way and now she’s letting me do it for longer and longer!
