I did this exact thing to my wedding invites and they were fine to ship with just one stamp!! Then I just sealed the envelopes as normal.

Just be careful when sending w postage, may be heavier with the wax seal and may cost more to ship out. VERY cute idea!!

heads up with the post office you might need to pay extra for postage because the wax seal isn't flat so it will need to be hand cancelled and cost more. it will ruin their machine if you don't tell them
