Running for the first time outside on my levitate running blade!! This is a feeling I’ve been dreaming of for years! 🥹 my heart is so full… it wasn’t easy or without pain, but that’s to be expected I think! I’m 7 months post op from my amputation! SO SO HAPPY! This felt so freeing. ❤️ lots of more videos to come! Notable mention, so expectations are realistic - it was super fun bouncing on it, running, and doing a bunch! The things is, my socket just doesn’t fit yet… so I’m having about 3 legless days now where I use crutches or my wheelchair so that my bone can heal up (it’s very bruised) and my nerves can chill out. So excited to keep running and making progress once I get a socket that fits! (I took a huge step forward running, but now I had to take some steps back, not wearing my leg, and letting my nub heal so I can do more in the future and not cause any additional problems) This opportunity to have a blade is UNREAL!! Still working on a socket too, so that I can do more daily!
