Homemade pop-tarts taste better 🤤 👇Cinnamon Pop-Tart Recipe👇 Crust: 1 cup flour 1/2 cup crisco 1 tsp salt 1/4 cup cold water Filling: 2 Tbsp melted butter 3/4 cup brown sugar 2 Tbsp all purpose flour 1 tbsp cinnamon 1 tsp vanilla extract Glaze: 6 Tbsp butter 1/2 cup brown sugar 3/4 cup powdered sugar 2 Tbsp milk 1/2 tsp cinnamon 1/2 tsp vanilla extract Instructions: 1. Preheat oven to 300°F and line a sheet pan with parchment paper. 2. In a large bowl, add the flour, crisco, and salt. Use a fork to cut the ingredients together. Add the water and stir until evenly combined and formed into a ball. 3. Move the dough to a lightly floured surface and roll into a large rectangle, roughly 1/8 inch thick. (Divide the dough in half and work in batches if needed.) Use a knife to cut the dough into rectangles of desired size. Place half of the rectangles on the lined baking sheet. 4. Combine the ingredients for the filling together, then spoon 1 Tbsp of the filling onto half of the dough rectangles, then spread into a thin layer, leaving space around the border. Poke a few holes into the tops of the pop tarts with a skewer or a fork, then place over the bottoms, and crimp the edges with a fork. 5. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until lightly browned. Let cool completely. 6. For the glaze, add the butter, brown sugar, and milk into a small saucepan and bring to a simmer for 1-2 minutes. Remove from heat and whisk in the vanilla, powdered sugar and cinnamon. 7. Immediately spread the glaze onto the pop tarts before it hardens. #dessertideas #poptarts #latenightsnack #EasyRecipe #homemadefood
