I get induced August 15th at exactly 37 weeks due to superimposed preeclampsia among other things 😵💫 but my last appointment is this coming Monday. Do I ask for a cervical check while there? (This is my first baby so idk what to expect 😅 )

This my second baby in 12yrs I was induced last time at 39wks due having pre preeclampsia at the end of my pregnancy I was already 6cm dilated/ I’m 40wks and 1 day ill be induced this Friday night I go I asked for it cause i don’t want to risk my blood pressure going sky high or become a ticking time bomb with out even knowing I’m already 3cm dilated I don’t have preeclampsia this time around but I feel confident and good that I’ll be okay

I’m on the induction list 40 weeks -1 station 80% effaced 4cm dilated they still haven’t called me for my induction I feel a lot of pressure but I get discouraged already had a membrane sweep this sucks

Mine is scheduled at 39 weeks for a c-section because my first was an emergency C-section. I’ve told my doctor I’d like to try for a VBAC so could I still do that at 39 weeks?

I have one appt left the day before induction scheduled. They haven’t checked anything so far in fact we don’t even leave the NST room for my last few OB appointments. At this point should I ask the OB or the hospital to check?

This is really helpful thank you. I didn't think about any of this. I find out in 2 days if I have to be induced due to cholestasis. They're just waiting on my labs.

The most important question should be if that not gonna hurt the baby.?? Which it did to my grandbaby.. ate hes own poop cuz of pitocin he in icu because of pitocin…

i have my last doc appt this friday at 9am (i’ll be 39w 4d) and they’re going to do a cervical check. the plan is if i’m dilated/effaced, i will go ahead with my scheduled induction for this saturday! but if im not dilated (i wasn’t last week) i might push it to my due date or a bit after. i’m just really hoping i am dilated this friday 🥺
