Cop was still in the wrong. Yea the criminal fled but the cop overreacted and had time to remember the license plate and could’ve used a tazer instead of automatically shooting

this makds no sense. why do you meed a witness. everything os on bodycam. there was no immediete threat to the officer. he escalated to deadly force without reason. thats should be punished regardless. otherwise if he kills the guy does he get off cause no witness. plus girlfriend was in the car. if victim was a criminal then thats seperate from someone abusing authority. this aint two wrongs make a right. but thats what happened here
