Some people would think that Mr Baankums acknowledgement of the existence of tribal Dieties means he acknowledges the existence of God. He doesn't. Mr Baankum considers tribal Dieties to be entities such as Mermaids and Merman's that posseses spiritual powers or energy, in other words ability to accomplish things humans are not able to. But does not consider them to have the attribute of an almighty God. So they can never be accepted as God. Just as humans have uniques abilities, so do tribal Dieties. But how could you prove tribal Dieties have the attribute of a universal God as penned in the Bible? Therefore there are other forms of existence or life like the Mermaids that posseses unique abilities whose exact nature and source of origin we do not know but must not consider God. For example the Bible never revealed who created Mermaids. So Baankum still does not endorse existence of God.
