It looks like the screen popping sound due to first fold, i think it’s cause they now use new and stronger material for the screen hence when first fold will make popping sound due to pressure of being fold.

Based on the sound probably it's from the first time folding it. The New Fold uses Titanium materials that they mix with the flex screen.
