@tittokwithemily: Every breast ultrasound is different—and that’s what makes this career so rewarding. 💗 Some findings are straightforward. Others challenge every bit of your anatomy knowledge, scanning technique, and critical thinking. The difficult cases can be frustrating in the moment, but they’re also the ones that help us grow the most. As breast sonographers, we never stop learning. 👇 I’m curious… What’s your favorite thing to scan, and what’s the most challenging thing for you? #BreastUltrasound #Sonography #BreastImaging #UltrasoundTech #Mammography
Have you ever seen someone come in for ultrasound and the only two symptoms are pan in a localized area and one is much larger than the other and it be cancerous or just normal things?

Working in mammography, I would definitely rather have a mastectomy than a lumpectomy!!

I hate when you get a diagnostic mam and ultrasound and they tell you the shape is concerning but it’s probably benign but they’re not sure so come back in 6 months.

Double mastectomy by choice. I had triple negative or as they say it was “low” Er + which was only 3%

Okay question for you. I had an incidental finding of fluid come out bilaterally. Normal prolactin levels. It’s been 5 years. Any chance that it’s just normal? I’m getting my first mammogram in 2 weeks. I have a history of fibroadenomas

I had DCIS 5 years ago and had a lumpectomy with a lot of ALH. Since then they’ve done four biopsies and all had ALH. What’s your experience with ALH? I refused tamoxifen

Have you ever seen any issues with a clip that was left in after surgery? I guess the clip wasn’t actually in my lymph node and didn’t make it out when they did the full axillary dissection. My team says it’s located around a lot of nerves so could cause more issue if they tried to get it
