My dad bought a truck with a camper for this specific reason! 🤣 he put all four of us in the camper with a mattress and a bunch of blankets and snacks 😭 but we had to stay laying down 😂 our older cousins snuck three Jack Daniels we had so much fun 😅

We drove for 3.5 hours Friday going to the Cape to visit family which should take an hour - my kids were fighting over a pillow and who was looking out each other’s windows. I turned into Chris Farley in the bus scene. Was in bumper to bumper and a guy probably 65+ in an hvac van was hysterically laughing and high fiving me to the window.

we were once on our way to Indiana Beach me and my sister were fighting and my dad says "if I hear another peep outta you guys I'm turning this car around" my sister then says "peep!" he was soooooo pissed but he laughed so we still got to go to indiana beach 😂

I'm such a giggly witch that I would get the look, I learned to look out the window or crack the window so my giggles couldn't be heard. I think my dad learned I'm a nervous giggler and let me be.

My dad used to be a truck driver, so when we took a family vacation from Texas to Disney World, he treated it like he was hauling freight instead of his family. He had a death grip on the steering wheel and was absolutely determined to make it in one day. My mom and I were in the backseat quietly arguing over who's turn it was to risk their life and ask him to stop so we could pee. 🤣

Yeah. We left him home. Why does he have to make it miserable? After a bunch of him not being there, found out we ALL preferred him not being there bc his attitude held us hostage. Eventually just left him altogether

we were driving from NY to Az at one point me and my sister could not quit fighting , my dad yelled several times then finally said dont make me come back there, so my sarcastic ass said you can't you're driving , welp he pulled over we got our butts whooped and when we got going again all we could do was giggle which just enraged him more 🤣😂🤣😂

One of my daughters STILL complains about how she got caught in the crossfire of her sisters in the backseat bc i smacked all 3 of them while her 2 sisters were fighting. She'll be 21 in 2 wks.

I slept on the floor board in the backseat and my sis got the bench seat. I’d get mad bc we were supposed to swap so I’d pinch her awake. My dad would slam on the brakes and she’d fall onto me. 😂 Man, miss the olden days 😂♥️
