I live in Osaka. I’ve lived in Hawaii and been to Okinawa a couple times. Okinawa is more like the Guam of Japan than the Hawaii of Japan 😅. I love Saipan though, that’s gotta be my favorite near-ish island.

For me if I would move to Japan it would be anywhere. Reason is because I would be grateful to just be there. When I was in Japan(vac) I’ve been to Osaka twice and both times I went I got more of NY vibes then anything. The friendliest people I ever met in Japan was Kanazawa to this day I still think about that place and the people.

Tokyo is ideal lowkey but expensive, Kanazawa is dope imo, but I think my ideal spot would be Shizuoka so I’m kinda in between Tokyo and Kyoto/Nagoya, plus always close to Fuji San
