At both periods of my life, I related to him. Homecoming Peter, I was that version of him, while a little younger. Brand New Day Peter I've never felt more alone and independent in my life and that's why the film was both so eye opening and almost comforting despite the harsh subjects.

I think this is mainly why I cried so much during the movie, he seemed so sad and miserable but the peter I remember was awkward, silly, happy, and stubborn. I miss that so much honestly, I mourn old peter like he’s my friend.
