He remarried in 4 months. Started a whole new family. Definitely was having an affair and definitely a terrible husband. He should still be charged with neglect because had she been successful, he would have definitely been questioned and asked why he left her alone knowing how unstable she was. He could have easily told her “no” and saved her from all of this. Food delivery is not a new concept. He failed those children and his wife but yet.. he gets to walk free. So much for wedding vows. I hope he lives with regret for the rest of his life.

I don't know if his actions were more malicious than they're being presented, but at the very least, he seems negligent in his duty as a partner, by knowingly leaving her with the kids, and traveling several times while, she did all child care and her having a mental health crisis.

Her spinal injury would have made it impossible for her body to regulate its temp and therefore it starts to take on the temperature of the outside temp. I explained this to a sleuth and they’re still arguing with me that it’s just not possible.

I think people are looking for an explanation they feel more comfortable with than what really occurred. This is an extremely tragic case but all thrse theories still dont help address the root issue that the system failed her and her family and we need systematic change to prevent further tragedies

The theories about this man are downright cruel (I hate that they’re making me defend a man 🥴) but bffr. Everyone saying that it’s his fault and he was cheating on her is crazy. He was clearly trying to get her help. He clearly loved her. His mistake was not realizing how bad it truly was but that’s lack of mental health knowledge and believing she was getting better because she seemed to be doing better. We don’t teach enough about mental health and the result is most people do not have a proper understanding of it. He was fighting for her to get answers they were both ignored by the medical system. So for months he was working full time, caring for the children, caring/attempting to advocate for Lindsey, and picking up the slack that often comes when a partner is going through a depressive episode. With three kids and a newborn. He was burning the candle at both ends so no I don’t think it’s his fault for not realizing the full weight of the situation they were in. Hindsight is always 20 20 and there are obviously things he could have done differently but Jesus people have some compassion. He’s not evil for remarrying. Do I think he remarried fast sure but this man has gone through one of the worst possible things a person can go through. He lost his entire family in the blink of an eye. Of course he sought human connection. Is he just supposed to be miserable the rest of his life? Is he supposed to pause his life until the internet deems enough time has passed? Is he never allowed to feel love again?
