I visited Ireland this year and spent time in Dublin as well, let me tell you, the Irish are the very best of people in this world. Strongest folk ever, kind, and so connected to each other, pride in their country, and such a love of music, every where I went I heard music. My heart was so full! I can’t wait to go back. Rest in peace Glen Hansard, you will be deeply missed.

Beautiful. I had the honor of seeing him perform opening for Pearl Jam at Fenway Park two years ago. I didn't know who he was at that time but I was immediately blown away and captivated by his voice and his music. Did I remember when Eddie's daughter came out and sang a couple songs with them. May he rest in peace.
