Mr. Gatluak Dolek Thoan has officially succeeded Mr. Jacob Malith Apiu as the Assistant Commissioner for the Nimule Customs Station under the National Revenue Authority (NRA). Mr. Gatluak Dolek Thoan was escorted to Nimule by Mr. Solomon Ariik Manyok, The deputy commissioner General of South Sudan revenue authority (SSRA) and John Mading Bol, the Commissioner for the Customs Revenue Division, to officially take over his duties. As South Sudan continues to face serious economic challenges, many citizens hope that this leadership change will contribute to improving revenue collection, strengthening accountability, and supporting the country's economic recovery.
