once I figured out dropping religion and focusing on pure relationship with Jesus and walking with Him. my life has been a lot better from anxiety, depression, and how I view life and others. just being human. when I was with religion it was hard to be a believer in Christ. dropping religion has been the best thing for me

I did the opposite, I went from not believing in anything to believing in Jesus, that being said, I joined a church that encourages me to ask questions and be curious. I have faith now because I enjoy it. Faith brings me peace and joy and when it doesn’t bring peace and joy, I believe something is wrong. I’m glad you got out of the situation that was harming you.

That first thing is something I can’t understand. In religion, I mean. Jesus did teach us to take care of others, the weakest in particular. So christians should help homeless people, shouldn’t they? And also we are told to take care of the world. So nature and animals.

The mental health not being a punishment or "test" anymore helped mine immensely 😂 and same with like divine purpose BS I always felt so terrible I didnt even want one so my divine purpose became having kids so THEY could do something divine by default 😂 and I accepted that BS!
