Was 17, learning how to be a machinist at baker college flint mi through Job Corp, hung my apron up and by Friday was talking to Army recruiters in Saginaw mi, 11/14/01 was in Fort Knox becoming a 19k M1A1 Armor Crewman. Best decision I ever made.

I was making breakfast for my husband and waiting for my mom to tell me she boarded her flight leaving Boston for Los Angeles! It was the most horrible days ever because she was supposed to be on that flight! We didn't know for 3 days later that she changed flights. Our family grieved our mother/grandmother and everyone else involved. Horrible days. We must NEVER FOGET! EVER!
