My wife carried us financially when I lost my job, and I hold down the home and support her in every other way. If your marriage is built on "what can I get out of you," it’s bound to fail. I feel some of our sisters out here saying they can’t find a decent man is because they’re not finding a man that is high earning. But not sure anyone’s ready for that conversation. And yes I am very aware that some men have their issues etc but some women also do. And there’s an increasing number of single men and women so the difficulty is down to something and at some point it’s down to people’s preferences.
