I just graduated from trade school and I’m applying for jobs and getting interviews but they all keep saying they rather go with someone with more experience. Do you have any advice on how I could land my first hvac job or convince a job to give me a chance ?

ots definitely 2 different skill sets. If you just know hvac you can always do hvac if you know how to run a business you can run any business. Not that one is any better than the other its the truth. it is a little comical when a hvac guy or mechanic says you cant start or run a business you don't even know how to be a tech all while their company is ran by private equity and those guys have never held a tool. The truth is anyone can start any business with or with out complete knowledge. if your smart enough to hire your weakness and have the capital to cover learning mistakes it can be done. The truth is money can cover a lot of mistakes at first. Now of course if you are a 1 man operation thats completely different but the guys that say it cant be done are funny af because have no clue what running or owning a business looks like. The bottom line is if you think Elon or Bezos cant start a hvac company in your backyard just simply because they have never done it you are crazy af. Of course they can and so can anyone else.

@Brian Blackwell: What is the difference in how you value an employee who wants a long term job vs someone who wants to start their own company?
