Quick question, I’ve seen a lot of people bring up BPD bec of the reaction to SSRIs. Wouldn’t autism or paradoxical reactions be on the table too then? Is there a reason why a dr wouldn’t look into these things? I ask bec I went through a similar thing with an adverse reaction, which led to me being assessed for BPD for a year but it never fit. I ended up hospitalized eventually and after the fact was told it could be one of those two instead. Just curious about when/how these things get looked at and why it isn’t brought up in this case?

The appropriate mechanism to prevent this tragedy is not more test testing because time was of the essence - one of those psychiatrists should have realized when she was calling the suicide hotline that she was a danger to herself and perhaps others and that’s to play on a involuntary 48 hour old psychiatric for and got a court to intervene to sort this out. Maybe that would’ve involved imaging

How do we find doctors that agree to do this? Every single one I have asked has refused. Not a single medication ever given has worked.
