This is similar to Brazilian culture, the person whose birthday it is gives the first slice of cake (o primeiro pedaço de bolo) to the person they love or respect the most.

The best part about this is you're teaching not only love but "consideration." The consideration that should be had between siblings and them Knowing that in the world they have you as the parents But they also have each other🥰🥰🥰🥰.
