The tragedy is in the language of memory, memory to me isn’t just a series of events. It’s a physicality you developed to wanting to naturally being around somebody. And even though I do believe that them choosing not to cut Peter returning MJ to her house and allowing the sequence to play out in which we literally see her return to me as an indicator of muscle memory because she’s realizing we’re not freaking out how easy her body can swing with him and Ned realizing the handshake, you remind me, forget that your body will always remember.

I wish they played out that boyfriend plotline more. By the end of the movie that guy is completely gone and their dynamic went pretty much back to normal, as if this one movie put everything back and completely undoes most of the hardship that came with this movie. The whole theme is pulling yourself out of isolation and trying to find people but Peter stops doing that the second MJ and ned comes back into his life
