im born muslim it happens to me too when im around asian/somalian areas they do judge but im not here to please them. only thing I can suggest is take her masjid and she will easily make friends and ppl will recognise you and will salam you but dont take it personal if they dont, youre a muslim and you worship Allah nothing else matters

Some peopl are just like this, I wear niqab and Salam sisters but get ignored pretty often or get dirty looks back. We really need to get it together as an ummah and sort ourselves out - there's no unity and we need it more than ever right now with all the riots and attacks against us

How could they? She’s a child who’s learning. I could never not give Salam back especially to a child. May Allah make it easier for us all but this is unacceptable behaviour.

This reminds me of a child that gave me a Salam as I walked out my home on my way to work - it actually made my day - I was showing my family on the ring camera. I love someone giving me Salam on the street. If I saw your daughter - I would have loved it. But this is a valid reminder and it’s a shame it has to take a child to teach us it.
