putting a smaller gauge in right now isn't usually a good decision but I do understand the friction thing, especially since it's on the mouth area. if there is any swelling, I'd watch out. keep it clean and your fingers away from it. I hope it heals beautifully.

I think that might be too small🥺. It looks so cute but there’s no gap and this will probably pull yours in causing more irritation. I think once it’s heeled this will be okay as I do this with my heeled nose piercings.
