If CEOs are so important and irreplaceable, why does the company I work for get a new one every 5 to 10 years? We have people filling the same low wage role long enough to see 4+ CEOs come and go.

Had a friend from rural China who moved to America at 9-10 and he always said that there was nothing better than coming to America after years of hunger and poverty. You ppl always love to talk about the greatness of socialism but never actually talk to people who had to live with it.

The higher I get into corp America, the easier my job gets. Yes, I have a lot of knowledge and experience but ultimately I am not working harder than the people on my team who are doing all the work. Yes I’m managing higher level escalation and responsibilities but it’s not harder. The people on my team could probably do it if they weren’t busy with their own day to day tasks.
