@mistithorpe: 🚨 Lindsey Clancy Trial Update: What did she actually agree to in court today? A lot of people are asking about the ā€œstipulationsā€ Lindsey Clancy agreed to this morning, so here’s what that actually means. No, Lindsey Clancy did NOT plead guilty or admit to the prosecution’s version of events. Instead, both the prosecution and defense agreed that certain facts don’t need to be proven through live witness testimony. Judge Sullivan questioned Lindsey directly to make sure she understood the rights she was waiving and that she agreed voluntarily. These stipulations typically involve technical matters like: 🩸 Chain of custody 🧪 Blood evidence collection and testing šŸ“‹ Laboratory submissions šŸ“¦ Authentication of physical evidence In other words, the defense is essentially saying, ā€œWe agree this evidence is what the prosecution says it is. There’s no need to spend hours calling witnesses to establish those facts.ā€ The jury will still consider that evidence. The stipulations simply streamline the trial so both sides can focus on what is actually being disputed. That’s because Lindsey’s defense isn’t arguing the evidence was mishandled or fabricated. Their defense is that she was not criminally responsible due to postpartum psychosis, not that the forensic evidence is inaccurate. The Commonwealth also continued presenting testimony today from the trauma physician who treated Lindsey after the incident. Prosecutors focused on the nature of her neck and wrist injuries, questioning whether some of the wounds required significant medical intervention. The defense challenged that characterization, pointing to the seriousness of her overall injuries, including the second-story fall that left her paralyzed. At the end of the day, today’s proceedings continue to highlight what this trial is really about. The question isn’t whether Lindsey Clancy caused the deaths of her children. The legal battle is whether she was criminally responsible at the time or whether postpartum psychosis prevented her from appreciating the wrongfulness of her actions. As always, this is an ongoing trial, and everyone involved is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law. šŸ” Mortgage loan officer by day. True crime nerd by night. How is this unclear sorry? She’s saying she is guilty of the crime so waving the rights away to prove beyond a reasonable doubt that she committed the crime so that the court can focus on whether she was in her right mind or not. The Judge is just making sure she understands the rights she is waving as a result of this.

Guys this trail isn’t about if she did it. It about why she did it and how she was suffering mentally and that what caused her to do the crime
