James isn’t a villain tho if he was the game wouldn’t even exist he was just a human put in a horrible position where he had to watch the love of his life suffer while not being able to fix it, and eventually just snapped and made a terrible decision that he regretted so much that it made him go to silent Hill thus having the entire game take place

To say he is a villain is tricky. He did smth really bad, there is no excuse for that. But he's suffering and trying to understand trough a traumatic experience. Although he was being treated really bad from the person he's taking care. I guess many people are at this kinda point in there life's. This is sadly human to act like this in some ways. So I would say it's a sad human way story. 😪
