The say "jack of all trades, master of none" actually being "A jack of all trades is a master of none, but oftentimes better than a master of one"

‘The customer is always right.’ So often misused to suggest establishments shouldn’t disagree with a customer about anything and customer demands should be met. The actual saying is ‘The customer is always right, in matters of taste.’ So if they say they want more salt in their food this applies. If they just want the food at half price this doesn’t apply.

"Great minds think alike" is shortened from "great minds think alike, but simple minds seldom differ" meaning you must be conscious of whether your common ideas are actually good, or just the easiest solution

"The customer is always right" is also a good one because the full version goes "the customer is always right in matters of taste" meaning not in everything.

"Where Ignorance is bliss, tis folly to be wise." Very ironic that many people are 'ignorant' to the second half of the phrase. The phrase actually comes from a much larger poem called "Ode on a Distant Prospect of Eton College".
