to continue with this idea, an Active Perception Roll should be significantly lower, than a Passive one. Focusing on looking at stuff should make it easier to spot stuff.

I have my tablet showing dndbeyond’s campaign mode which shows me each player’s passives and go, though the go doesn’t update regularly.

You can use passive versions of all skills! So you know what to give players without asking them for rolls.
