@thechrisheria: Part 1 of 3: Bicep Curl vs Chin-Up. One isolates your biceps… The other builds your entire pulling chain. One trains a single movement. The other develops real-world strength, grip, core, and control. Which one builds more functional upper-body strength? That difference matters. 💪🏽
I seen you when I was 13 how are you still the same age

Calisthenics, obviously. Weights are for the pump, the mirror—static stuff. Calisthenics is about perfect proportions and real strength derived from gravity rather than a barbell. They are two different training methods; you can certainly benefit from both, but for me, calisthenics is far more stimulating and comprehensive. Beyond offering greater benefits and putting less strain on my joints compared to weight training, calisthenics builds strength, balance, and coordination—things you simply can't achieve with weights.

Omg I remember I used to be so motivated by this guy's videos on youtube. I was at my fittest then. I started slacking off over the years and now I'm further than where I was back then. Dang... I guess I gotta start watching his content again to motivate me

i agree with that but weighted calisthenics are only giving you strength as for low reps and it is difficult to grow muscle maintaining your technique on high reps while weights are good because you can adjust your weight and can gain strength and muscle depending on frequency. Calisthenics improves your strength and endurance for your body but makes it difficult to gain muscle while weights also do the same as calisthenics and you can build muscle in high reps but cannot lift their body only weights. They're strong in different ways so it's better to train both of them so you can lift your body, control your body and lift other heavier things

Problem with calisthenics, most people are lean not bulky. They don't have mass so yeah you need a different approach if you want to get bigger 💔
