@tulsazoo: Happy Owl Awareness Day! 🦉🤍 We have some exciting news to celebrate... Three snowy owl chicks have hatched to mom Ophelia and dad Lumi! The chicks hatched on July 17, 19 and 21, and all three are doing well. Snowy owl parents both play an important role in raising their young. While Ophelia stays close to the nest to brood and protect the chicks, Lumi helps keep his growing family fed by bringing mice back to the nest. You may be able to spot our newest arrivals during your next visit to the Life in the Cold building. Stay tuned for more updates as these little ones continue to grow!
