Well America is not the current world champions of basketball. It’s Germany. Before Germany, it was Spain. America is tied with Yugoslavia at the highest number of FIBA titles won, YUGOSLAVIA!! When USA hosted the world basketball championship in 2002, FR Yugoslavia won. If other countries were interested in American sports, America would be nothing in those sports
