I'm all for autonomous freight, however I do believe they should make their own roads for them, while robotics Ai can be near perfect, the human is not, 9 out of 10 accidents related to Ai is because humans cause them, let's be frank, we can be very stupid at times, like changing lanes at last second because we going to miss our exit and so on.

This is efficiency.. with no human involved, there is zero downtime. They only stop to swap batteries or when it has faulty parts, in which a replacement will be made. Goods will be delivered faster and the economy will spin even faster.
