It’s a paradox, there is no correct answer, the answer is 25, but then there’s 2 25s so it’s 50, but there’s 1 50 so it’s 25, and so on

The question is literally designed to be an unanswerable brain teaser. It is two circular logic loops. If 25% is right there are two 25s so it’s 50%, but if 50% is the correct answer there is a 25% chance, but if 25% is right it is 50%… Once you recognize the circular logic, that means there are no answers and therefore there is a 0%, but as 0% is an answer there is a 25% chance of getting it right, which feeds you back into the original logic loops.

3 choices, as 2x25% become one. you can't get 0% cause then you not right, so that leaves 2 options, and that in itself is 50%. therefore 50% is the right answer

it is zero because none of the answers matches the probability of chosen at random. But I am not choosing at random. I am answering the original question. So it is C 0% chance getting it right at random.

The circular logic of the question means that because the answer changes to wrong no matter what you land on, including zero, you ultimately do only have a zero percent chance of getting a right answer.

Its 50%. Because both 25%s can be coupled. Meaning that you have 50% chance to choose 25%. And a 50% chance to choose either 0 or 50%. So 50% is the answer, because 0% is an invalid answer. Since 0% chance on a multiple choice is impossible. So the only answers are 25% or 50%. Of which theres a paradox for this situation that i forgot the name of, but the answer is 50%.

To me, “at random” implies I am not considering the value of each answer. Like the value of each answer would be irrelevant when the selection is truly random.
