@fishheadtackle: The FCL Labo SPP 120 is a swimming popper that differs to most other poppers in that it is designed to swim sub surface. On the initial rip it will bloop and drag a vigorous bubble trail underwater, if the movement is continued the lure will swim and wiggle sub surface like a minnow. You can fish it with short hard rips of the rod to get more of a traditional popper action or even twitch it slow to get a walk the dog action if the bite is subtle. This type of lure is great in rough conditions as the sub surface action will see a rise in hook up rates whilst still getting the thrill of a surface strike. This Size SPP is an excellent choice when chasing big reef fish over the shallow reefs as well as being great for GT's, tuna, Spanish mackerel and kingfish.
