i work at the village, my job is to clean their apartments, i often talk with the people, listening to them, they often offer me treats and they show me old pictures 🥹 its a blessing to work for them!

my father was alone when he was diagnosed with dementia. we lost contact with him since 2016 and had no way of reaching him, nor could we fly over to take care of him. all i pray is that he never felt lonely even after losing us—and that he still remembers me despite his illness. i want to hold onto the slight hope that he was okay. i miss him everyday.
