My white side of the family are Scottish Americans from Brooklyn nyc who are psychopaths and my black side of the family are very old school black southern people who also go something tf wrong with them 😂 I think I’m fucked on both sides 😭

Oh they were proper. My husband's family is from Idaho, dance, laugh get loud, drink bud light, smoke cigarettes and party til they drop.

I can relate. My father is 100% Irish. My mother came to the US from Lebanon in 1960. There was a million of them, it was loud, and everyone was dancing.

She would make it more complicated. There’s so many different types of white families. Like my white side of the family is about family and good times and music, dancing, great food and just a great family time. Tons of cousins playing. Now my daughter-in-law‘s white side of the family is way different. Very reserved and very traditionally white Midwest type. Then I have my son-in-law’s white side of the family and they eat no food and don’t know what a seasoning is. My family is very blended and diverse. So many different races within each family unit.

Everybody kept in contact. I absolutely loved going to my dads family’s stuff. Good music and delish food. Stayed late and always included us.

I am white. My family was not like that. The cousins, Aunties and Uncles, grandparents, family friends we identified as cousins and Aunties and Uncles all had meals and parties together. My son is Biracial and he had the rowdy on both sides. Parties, holidays, birthdays or a random Saturday. We always had fun. Drinking, smoking, and kids having a blast outside. We always had a blast.

Let me pit. The white side was fake as hell. Very quiet and lots of tip toeing so as not to offend the alphas. Really dumb humor and lame music, too. Always an early night.
