Thisss! As someone who works with children 15-19 months, let them move around, be outside, and explore. Simple wooden blocks, shakers, leaves, and water play can keep them busy for so long! And playing freely teaches them so much already

While I agree with this, sometimes in order to get stuff done with my toddler, I will put the tv on for him for like 20 mins so I can get something done around the house…. It keeps him entertained for a small amount of time while I have a few mins of sanity and get the household chores done while my husband is at work
