I think its pretty hilarious, because they dont believe in eternal security but are adamant about certain saints being in heaven. Their canonization is based on martyrdom and miracles/deeds. Excluding martyrdom, all other instances are based on works that without believing in eternal security they would have to say the person could have done those works through the power of the spirit but then still have the possibility of renouncing the faith and or committing a mortal sin and being separated before repenting. Point being, since they allow that possibility then theres a possibility that they’re ‘venerating’ someone who’s not in heaven.
