@bluetsunami2026: Broadway is having such a strong season, it would be difficult to recommend just 1 or 2 shows for out of towners with so many top tier shows right now to choose from. I’m adding one more to the list after seeing Titanique for the second time. If you love camp, Book of Mormon level laughter, and everything Titanic wrapped into all things fabulousness that is Celine Dion then this show is right up your alley. I don’t want to give the plot away, I just want to say that this cast of hijinks includes the diva herself Deborah Cox (13 Billboard number 1 hits and her voice is as beautiful as ever!) as the unsinkable Molly Brown, comedy sensation Jim Parsons as Rose’s mom (stole the show with almost every line), Frankie Grande (yes, Ariana’s talented talented bro) as the captain, and the list goes on and on. Lastly, Marla Mindelle as Céline Dione and co-writer of the show is so unfriggin believable you are in awe of her voice, her presence, and her comedic timing, I can't say enough about this woman, she is a true standout...brava! I posted an earlier performance of Layton William’s “River Deep, Mountain High” and that garnished a lot of traffic because this man sang the dress off of this song. Throughout the show, you can’t take your eyes off of this talent, I can’t wait to see what he does next. He deserved the Tony for this performance and I stand by that! Another sub quality video, but the audio shows his skillz! Hot diggity damn! Titaníque is scheduled to close on September 20, 2026 so definitely set asail if you're in the city.
