Good detectives can also solve murders. We don’t need a mass surveillance state more than already exists

My problem is, these cameras read LP today, but they can always be upgraded to real time and facial recognition. I also don’t want to give this power of monitoring the citizens to people who shut businesses and force lockdowns during COVID.

“We the people” sit in the jury box and have the final say on guilt or innocence if anyone is arrested for damaging these cameras. The jury box and work stoppage are two very powerful tools the citizens have to push back - nonviolently.

In other words, the police department is too lazy to do their job too busy sitting in parking lots in 120k vehicles and want cameras to do the work for them

ya'll realize Flock is the brand name. AXOM has a similar system and many other cameras. They have been using the technology for years. The only difference is Flock is nation wide and without jurisdiction oversight.

Please: Someone ANYONE tell me a story of how crime has brought us to this point. I need serious examples of how society has wronged you on a criminal level personally.

So the chief pretty much said he could care less about our privacy. I hope everyone remembers the politicians who approved the cameras when it’s voting time.
