I’ve switched to buying from second hand Japanese boutiques. They have a strict counterfeit laws, so majority of the items are real. I’ve noticed the prices are better, and a lot of the items are in great condition. The only downside is paying import fees but all together still cheaper than purchasing from therealreal.

The Real Real is terrible!!! They lost my shoes (Tom Ford padlock sandals). I reached out to them every week for a month and half to see if they found them and they kept giving me the run around. My shoes cost $1,100 and were only worn 3-4 times. When I asked for a full refund because they lost them they said their policy is paying consignment rate…. $150. 😐 NEVER AGAIN
