What kind of eclipse is it when the sun is in between the moon and the earth? 🤔

I honestly have grown to hate space events living in New Jersey. I never get to see them; we either have cloud coverage or you just can't see it from this part of the world. It's honestly very frustrating for somebody who loves space 😩

Best wishes for a safe trip with good weather. Will people in Pennsylvania be able to see the partial eclipse? PS love your posts!

“It’s the end of the world- kill the king” so real if you’ve seen totality! It’s just so incredibly wild:)

I have solar glasses left from my last total solar eclipse in 2024 or 25 🥰 it was the one visible in WNY and Niagara falls. my son got out of school early and we walked to the playground and there was newscasters and the historical society was giving them away. it was AWESOME. It was kinda cloudy all day but the clouds parted JUST IN TIME 💖💖

My grandfather bought a piece of property in 1979. It just so happened to sit virtually directly center of the umbra of the April 2024 eclipse. The eclipse of August 2017, my house in NC was located in about the 80-90% coverage area. Both were the most amazing things I’ve ever experienced.

if you don't have a science museum or centre, look up the local amateur astronomy group. they'll either have available to borrow during the eclipse at the event they're probably putting on, or can point you to where to buy them. if you're in Canada check RASC.ca
