3 minutes away from that theater. Went there all time, had first dates there, hung out with my friends there., watched great movies, went to Taco Bell right after. I miss this theater so much

The fact that the Coventry 13 theater lasted longer than Carmike is wild to me. I’ve definitely crossed the threshold of being old since part of me thinks of this DuPont location as the “new” theater still.

I miss when this was carmike, that was the place to be on a Saturday night!! They had about 8 different types of popcorn popping in the machines on the terrace above the concession stand, actual people would be up there and it almost like a performance. Always got caramel corn, saw all the twilight and Harry Potter films here
