Don't mind them, I studied geography and urban planning and people ain't got a clue when they say geography is useless. Not only is it an enjoyable subject but there're so many pathways you can go too with that subject.

I always think about how, centuries ago, ideas were censored by banning books. Today it’s different: instead of banning humanities, people are taught they’re worthless because they don’t make enough money. Different method, similar effect

technically all degrees hold equal value. every degree carries something meaningful and has knowledge in its own way. we’d just risk losing important areas of understanding if we avoided non stem degrees 🥹

AND AS WELL a degree does not equate to money. most jobs do not require a specific degree course. and most people do not use their degree in their occupation? so study something you want.

I finished social sciences at UCL with first class honours and know so many people going into different field and I even did geography modules as electives. HUMANITIES >>

I study geography and it literally has so many subjects within it! It’s sooo flexible and can be applied to sha many diff fields which is useful in this job market

I believe that no degree should be considered as ‘useless’. If you’re really interested in the subject then you should 100% go for it and study it in university!!
