@_false_face: The Voladores de Papantla (Dance of the Flyers) an ancient Mesoamerican ritual in Mexico

⏾ :

Where can I go to see this in real life? Is this something that’s okay for cultural outsiders to watch or is it private?

foodiewabooty :

I’d fall down 629 times

_bunbun_87 :

My fear of heights would never let me do this

PRbyAlicia :

When I say I want my children to experience the cultures of the world, this is what I am talking about. What do you mean their father grew up steeped in culture and refused to show it to them 😭 I was raised by 1st Gen Americans, so I try to teach what I know of my family's world, but to have my kids see this would be everything)
